ON THURSDAY, MAY 19TH, AT 2:00 PM, THE WEST YELLOWSTONE SCHOOL WILL PRESENT HS STUDENTS WITH ACADEMIC AWARDS IN ALL SUBJECT AREAS.  PLEASE COME AND HONOR OUR HARDWORKING STUDENTS!

Kindergarten Orientation 5/11/16

It is that time of year to begin thinking about registering Kindergarten students for the 2016-2017 school year.  If you have a student who will turn 5 years of age by September 10, 2016 and you plan on enrolling him / her here at the West Yellowstone School, please contact the school at 646-7617 to sign up for this Orientation.  Next year’s Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Amy Freed, and the K-6 Principal, Mr. Kevin Flanagan, will be offering a Kindergarten Orientation on Wednesday, May 11th from 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. in order to welcome students and parents, and provide registration packets.  The Orientation will be held in the Wolverine Lounge at the school.

ATTENDANCE CONTRACTS & TRANSPORTATION AGREEMENTS

West Yellowstone School District #69 is now accepting Student Attendance Agreements and Individual Transportation Agreements for the 2016-17 school year.  Any parent who lives outside of the West Yellowstone School District must fill out a Student Attendance Agreement and pay tuition in order for their student(s) to attend school in the district.  Any parent transporting their child more than three miles to the nearest bus stop or more than three miles to the nearest school is eligible for transportation reimbursement. 

Both forms are available from the West Yellowstone School office between the hours of 8am-4pm.  Information regarding tuition and/or transportation reimbursement rates can be obtained from Spring Binfet, Business Manager.

All forms are due in the West Yellowstone School office NO LATER THAN 12pm Friday May 27, 2016 in order for them to be approved and filed with the State in a timely manner.   Questions can be directed to Spring Binfet at 406-646-7617.
